Tom & Stephanie,
 
I thought I would share a short tale if I may
of two lovely people who are moving away
 
Not away from their family, or all their close friends
but far from an Island, to go live in Bend
 
The Island is gorgeous and the views are immense
and the thought of leaving it does not make much sense
 
Unless you're this couple, I mentioned before
while they loved that ol' Island, it's time to explore
 
To reach beyond roads not yet drawn on a map
to uncover stories they will tell us, perhaps
 
To leave in the morning, with no time to spare
to find something wonderful just over...there
 
They'll write many postcards and email back home
And while they may miss their Island, they'd still rather roam
 
But soon they'll head home, tho' Home's a new view
From Island to Mountain - and we'll see them there, too
 
But lucky for us - tradition is dear
And on Christmas Eve-Eve - I hope they'll be here.
